We want to reward loyal clients with Kate Coins. It’s a programme built around cashbacks and other benefits. There are already a large number of use cases, but we want to add more. As our Functional Analyst, you work with a multifunctional, diverse team to bring new possibilities to the client.

You add your strengths to the Group Applications Services department, where we work on projects including programmable money on both a local and a group level. Every day, we strive for high-quality solutions for our clients, ensuring they fit smoothly into the different architectures we use in Belgium and in our entities in other countries.

Your focus? Determining how our app and the processes behind it need to look. You work out new ideas with a team, give support during the development and with the roll-out to our clients. Expect an interesting role where you come into contact with our IT architecture, IT systems, customer journey, mobile app and the different products that KBC offers. Expect fascination and excitement at every moment!
What are your tasks?
●    You work with us on the development of new applications with Kate Coins, both for internal products and for external partners.
●    You work with your colleagues on the future of Kate Coins
○    New features;
○    Maintenance;
○    Optimisation of the architecture;
○    Keeping our solution future-proof.
●    You make sure that the business requirements are well defined, translating them to a clear functional analysis and coordinating the tasks within the teams to come to a high-quality delivery. You work together with UX and communication experts.
●    You respond to problems by analysing them. You evaluate their impact, develop a solution and follow up the technical implementation.
●    You help developers and business stakeholders with any questions they might have.

Profile description

You love analysis; you go in depth, with an eye for detail and common sense. You enjoy achieving goals by working with others, from the various experts in your scrum team to policy experts. Keeping business stakeholders up to date? Anticipating possible problems? This is where your proactive nature shines. You communicate clearly, enthusiastically and convincingly in Dutch and English. This helps you to facilitate the process of idea creation and to lead development in the right direction. You win points if you’re already familiar with SAFe methodology (agile). You’re fascinated by IT, anything digital and the endless possibilities offered by new technologies such as blockchain.
